Angel Has Fallen

Ok, yes, hi, I know I havn't posted on here for a while but that's because there hasn't been any movies I've wanted to see. However Angel has fallen, the 3rd movie in the has fallen franchise, was released and I finally saw it in cinemas. Plot Ok, so as said, this is the 3rd movie in the series. It follows the story of Mike Banning, played by Gerald Butler, who is an agent in the secret service. He's been along side the President when Olympus fell and London falling. Throughout them movies we also have the character Allan Trumbull, Morgan Freeman, who played as acting president whilst being speaker of the house in olympus has fallen, vice president in London has fallen, and now president in angel has fallen. Like Olympus has fallen, the name "angel" is as code name and it's for the secret service. The movie starts with a, what seems to be a training/simulation like scenario with people. After that we see a few characters. Of course there's Mik

The Lion King (2019)

Note: This is a bit late as the release date in the UK for this movie was on the first day of my 1 week vacation and I then watched this movie first day back. The Lion King. One of Disney's biggest movies of all time and can be considered one of the best animated movies of all time. So it's definitely not surprising to see this come into a live movie adaptation however it's surprising that it came so late. This is going to be a bit of different style review as, well, this isn't a "new" story or movie, it's just a remake. So for this movie I'll be adding a section for how well it was adapted and changed into live action/cgi. Plot So, I hope I don't need to explain the plot as the plot and dialogue is almost identical from the original and I'm hoping everyone reading has seen it. But if you haven't,somehow, then let me explain. There's this lion, Mufasa, and his pride and land. He has a son, Simba, and Mufasa also has a brother, Sc

Yesterday

After the release of biopics of Queen and Elton John, we see another movie involving  classical British band but this time it's not about them. Instead it takes upon the question what if the Beatles never existed or stopped existing. This is a huge question as they inspired many musicians and changed the music industry.  Story We the story of Jack Malik, a struggling musician and song writer trying to get in the business but failing badly. Despite no one recognising him, his friends, family and life long, childhood friend, Ellie, who also his manager give him the support needed to keep going and try and get there. However, on a drive home, he states he gives up. But then, when riding on a bike, all of electricity goes out for a few seconds, which makes him get hit by a bus. This cause severe damage to him. By his side was Ellie, showing she cares for him deeply. When recovered, his friends provide him gifts as a welcoming back. One present was a new guitar which then Ja

Toy Story 4

Welcome to my first review: Toy Story 4. As of writing this review, I've only seen this film once and that was a week ago so some bits may not be 100% accurate for now and I may have missed out on certain aspects. This review also contains spoilers and may have some biased points. Story Toy Story 4 is an interesting film to the saga and very different. At the start of the film, we see why Bo Peep left. Then we go forward to present time to see that Woody just doesn't get played by Bonnie as much anymore. This is basically the backstory point of the movie. The plot, in summary, involves Bonnie making a new toy out of garbage (a spork, googly eyes, sticks and a pipe cleaner) to help her through her first day of kindergarten. When Woody introduces forky to the rest of gang of toys, forky feels out of place and only wants to be in one location: the trash. We then see Bonnie and her parents, with the inclusion of her toys, travelling on a road trip, which later leads to a ca

About Me!

Hello! My name is Logan, and for all my life I have loved talking about movies in many different ways. I've always loved reviewing them, criticising them, getting the full understanding with backstories, theories and out side of movie canon information. So now that I realised that I want to share my thoughts and opinions to a lot of people, I've decided to create a blog. I will be posting on here every time I watch a movie that just released (so my first review will be Toy Story 4) or you guys suggest movies for me to review.  I am a nerdy kid. I love Marvel, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Disney, Pixar etc. So these will mainly be the type of movies I'll be reviewing. I usually go cinema around 5 times a month and I try my best to see each movie twice. If this blog gets a lot of readers in the future, I'll take up my time to go see movies I would never think of wanting to see when they release just for this blog.  I would say I am a fair critic towards movies (and tv
